During the days dominated by the Covid-19 pandemic, within silence and forced isolation, I delved into my photographic archive. The multitude of “rejected” photos not included in past works was a welcome invitation to liberated play. I chose a photo or a detail as a trigger for continued action. I cut them and combined them in various styles. At some moment in the game something happened – at times rapidly, at other times after much experimentation. The title "Sea / Land" brings to mind a children's game in which participants must move quickly from "sea" to "land", may get confused and find no resting point in either place.
The accumulated works form a world with no order, no scale and no time. It is a surreal, catastrophic world covered by beauty, and allowing one to observe the threatening layer hiding underneath. It is a space of pure imagination, free of any rules and boundaries.

תצלומים דיגיטליים מעובדים, הדפסות בהזרקת דיו פיגמנטי על נייר כותנה, גדלים משתנים, 2020-2021.
בתוך הסגר והשקט הגמור שקעתי בארכיון התצלומים שלי. שפע התצלומים "הדחויים" שנותרו מחוץ לעבודות השונות הזמין אותי לשחק. בדרך משוחררת לגמרי, בחרתי תצלום או פרט מתוכו, אלו שהיוו עבורי טריגר להמשך פעולה, גזרתי אותם וחיברתי ביניהם באופנים שונים. יש רגע בתוך המשחק שמשהו קורה. לפעמים זה קורה מהר ולפעמים אחרי הרבה ניסיונות. השם "ים יבשה" מזכיר את משחק הילדים שגורם למשחקים בו לנוע במהירות מהים ליבשה, להתבלבל ולא למצוא מנוח באף אחד מהם.
העבודות מצטברות לעולם חסר סדר, קנה מידה או זמן. עולם סוראליסטי של קטסטרופה עטופה ביופי שמאפשר להתבונן במאיים שמסתתר תחתיו. עבודה שכולה דמיון, משוחררת ונטולת גבולות.
