This series of works is based upon my photos of ancient archeology from various periods as well as stones molded by nature, all photographed in Israel, and used as raw materials to be taken apart and restructured.
By digital cutting and combining in a process of fragmentation, duplication, reversal, changes of size and scale and restructuring, a "photographic sculpture” is created. These manipulations allow endless variations creating an imaginary universe in which one can observe the concurrent paradoxical processes of material petrifaction and digital transformation. The new structures may bring to mind ceremonial, shamanic or cosmic objects pointing to past and future alike, to an imagined iconic mythological almanac.

תצלומים דיגיטליים מעובדים, הדפסות בהזרקת דיו פיגמנטי על נייר כותנה, גדלים משתנים, 2020.
הביאנלה לאומנויות ועיצוב, מוזיאון ארץ ישראל, תל אביב

סדרת עבודות זו מבוססת על תצלומים של אלמנטים ארכיאולוגיים עתיקים מתקופות שונות וצורות אבן שהזמן והמים יצרו, שצילמתי בישראל כחומרי גלם לפעולה מניפולטיבית של פירוק ובנייה מחדש.
בתהליך של קיטוע, שיכפול, היפוך, שינוי גודל, קנה מידה ותחביר בין אלמנטים שונים, נוצר דימוי שהוא "פסל צילומי". פעולה זו פותחת פתח לאין סוף מצבים של יצירת עולם מדומיין שמאפשר התבוננות בבו-זמניות הפרדוקסלית של התאבנות החומר ושל טרנספורמציה הנוצרת באמצעים דיגיטליים. המבנים/הפסלים החדשים מעלים על הדעת לעתים אובייקטים פולחניים, שמאניים או קוסמיים שפונים הן אל העבר והן אל העתיד, אלמנך איקוני מיתולוגי מדומיין.
